A: When your present web hosting provider can no longer measure up to the needs of your site, or if you suffer from constant network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the client support staff to respond to you, it may be smart to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At PC service Providers, we know that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. That is why we’ll do all that for you at no cost!Our expert technical staff will transfer your web site content from your current provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience migrating websites and can handle anything – from a traditional WordPress–based blog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered site, to a very complex, custom–built web app.

A: While we can’t give you a precise ETA, since there are many factors, among them the size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our best to migrate your web site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (when the website content is not very large).

A: Yup. We’ll need to have the name of the website that you wish us to move. We will also require a way to log in to your present hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your web site.

A: Client privacy is truly one of our principal concerns – that’s why, both our payment page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–grade digital certificates. We employ security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative methods to secure the details that we assemble online. And we have a very detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes the types of information that we gather.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. When the transfer is completed, we will make certain that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised before informing you that the migration is finished. After that, we will instruct you how to move the domain name over to your web hosting account with us and how to update your DNS resource records.

A: Nah. We’ll never get in touch with your hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the website migration either.

A: Yep. We support all regular Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, because we do not provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary site building and administration user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
